ÉZARO VIEWPOINT

Considered one of the best viewpoints in Galicia and not only we say it… From this enclave you can see the character of the Galician coast; from the tip of Cabo Fisterra with its lighthouse, passing through the wild Lobeiras Islands, the winding mouth of the river Ézaro, the grandeur of the Celtic Olympus - Monte Pindo to reach the reservoir of Santa Uxía, which regulates the flow of the unique Ézaro Waterfall. A natural spectacle that does not need filters to enjoy its panorama.

We must not forget that the Mirador do Ézaro is becoming the mecca for cyclists. It all started in the summer of 2012, this place being the end of the twelfth stage of La Vuelta where Joquím Rodríguez “Purito” took the title of stage winner with a record ascent of the last 2 km in just 6´47´´: unbeatable ! In 2013, La Vuelta once again had this scenario, forming part of the fourth stage ending in Cabo Fisterra.

A few years passed and in 2016 O Ézaro sounded again in the Spain cycling tour, it was again the end of the stage, of the third stage in which Alexandre Geniez conquered the Mirador do Ézaro. 2020 will be the year of La Vuelta again… We will have to wait a few months to know the winner of this infernal time trial !!

Along with this international cycling event, the Gran Fondo Ézaro was born, now part of the UCI Gran Fondo World Series, an unmissable event for bicycle lovers.

And not everything is sport, remember that the Ézaro viewpoint offers a unique visual spectacle. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a unique sunset, this is yours!
